Hello 🙂

So this is me.
I’m Áine McGuckian, a qualified medical herbalist, and the super proud owner of The Little Herbalista.

I qualified with a BSc. (Hons) Herbal Medicine in September 2013 from The University of Lincoln, and have been working on establishing my own herbal practice, in Coleraine on the North Coast of Northern Ireland, since June 2014.

One of my great passions is inspiring and educating people about the many uses of herbs, hence this blog. Whilst I’m not the kind of person to force a belief system incessantly (for some people that includes using herbs as a form of health care) so when you meet me I’m not always the most confident in explaining what I do, but if you get me talking about herbs… I could go on for hours.

I do hope you will join me on this journey, as I let my passion and excitement for herbs show, and hopefully I can teach you how to use some of their wonderful properties along the way.
